Looking at the touch plate video > Touch Plate Utility - Avid CNC EX Controller (youtube.com)
when doing the bit touch off on the touch plate… I don’t see the magnet with blue wire being used…am I seeing wrong?

In that video I was using a spindle that had conductivity to ground. You can see if this will work on your spindle by going to the touch plate utility and tapping the plate to a bit. If you see the graphic change without the magnet being attached you may not need to use it. Test carefully.
If you don’t see the graphic change you likely will need to use the magnet.

Will the spindle grounding harness come back in stock sometime soon? Might be good to have just to reduce static buildup alongside not needing to use the magnet.
Will this harness work with the 3hp spindle?? I do not want to use the magnet if I do not need to. is it available?
