Which two of the three Y's ports should be used?

Some help please. Read through the various documentations. Could not find the descriptions for Y1-, Y2+ and Y2-. The two Y proximity sensors on my machine are in the front. Which of these three Y ports should be used for the two front Y sensors? Thanks.
