Hello.
question what bearing does the Avid 3hp spindle use?
I noticed a different sound and it seems it is the upperbearing closer to the cooling fan.
Is this a special bearing or just plain regular bearing?

This is the GMT spindle? I crashed one of those hard and messed up the bearings. I looked around for replacement bearing options, but was told that the bearings and shaft are balanced together and swapping them out wasn’t going to fix anything. 
Had to get a new one.
