Hey Everyone! I’ve been hanging out for a while but this is my first time posting. I just got the new laser upgrade from Avid and have been having a blast! One thing I noticed was that the smoke produced by the laser is pretty substantial, and my space was not the easiest to ventilate. I do a lot of engraving, so most of the smoke ends up on the top of the material. To respond to this I whipped up a Smoke Extraction Hood! Safety string for lasers

I kinda wanted that dock… but I cheaped out and designed and 3D printed my own version of it: [image] [image] That’s the Fusion file if you want to spin it around. One thing I did to make sure I didn’t knock the laser off was but a bolt in the back that secures it to the dock. Removing the laser is easy.. I just push it down and remove the one M5 in the back and it’s off.
