Stage access stairs

Not a typical CNC project as it was a one-off that I probably could have built faster using traditional shop tools. I made this for my church which is in a new building that doesn’t have center aisle stage access… a problem for brides/weddings, etc. I did this about a year ago to sharpen my VCarve pro design and Avid PRO6060 machining skills. It turned out great - every piece was cut with the CNC. Cutouts in the interior braces/supports are to lighten it up since they are put in storage when not needed. You can’t tell in the pix, but the top tread has a subtle arc cut at the back to match the contour of the stage that it sits against. They were also good for practicing my new Avid Forum Posting skills… hoping to earn a badge, cause I do need a stinking badge!
