I have 2 sheets mdf on top of the cross members, no vacuum table. I surface the top but when I screw down (sheet goods) in this case the top deflects. what would an solution be? I was thinking building 1inch plywood torsion box inserts in-between the crossmembers bolted in and a top and bottom 1 inch ply bolted on as a base. I could still add a vacuum after if I found the funds.

Thank you! that is the flex and possibly away from the edge in-between the crossmembers . Thank you for doing those videos there is a load of info to learn from. I will be adding either a 6hp auto tool change or move the 2.2 auto tool change spindle over from another machine and your video is a great start.
