Can you see where I made my mistake… I assembled the Z and didn’t have the plate high enough to put the two top bolts in and the brake prevents you to manually lift the plate up so is there a way to move that up without assembling the rest of the Z and or taking it apart?
you can take that plate off, if you move the rapplon (fabric) cover to the side you can see there are bolts that hold that plate into the linear bearings.
The other thing you could do is power up the machine and just move the Z axis a little
